Join us for the S2BN Virtual Career Café! This interactive, online event series aims to profile career paths for scientists outside of academia. During these one and half-hour, ask-me-anything events, attendees can ask our featured guests questions about their career journey, current role, and seek advice on navigating career transitions from academia. Our sixth event focuses on the role of Regulatory Affairs.
Objectives:

- Provide an overview of roles and responsibilities in regulatory affairs
- Answer your questions related to career transitions from science to regulatory affairs

Sharnpreet Kooner, M. Biotech, Regulatory Affairs Project Leader, GSK
Sharnpreet Kooner is a member of the Regulatory Affairs team at GlaxoSmithKline Inc. As a Project Leader of the Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) team, Sharnpreet supports the filing of Regulatory submissions for pharmaceuticals, biologics, and vaccines to Health Canada. After completing a student internship in Regulatory Affairs at GSK in 2018, Sharnpreet spent 1.5 years as a Regulatory Associate at Baxter Corporation, prior to returning to GSK in her current role. Sharnpreet is a graduate of the MBiotech program of the University of Toronto, and the Honour's Biology and Pharmacology Co-op program at McMaster University.
Raymund Rama, MSc, Director, Regulatory Affairs, Gilead Sciences
Raymund Rama is the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Gilead Sciences and previously worked at Roche.
