About the Event
Dr. Prameet Sheth, PhD in HIV immunology from University of Toronto, is a clinical microbiologist at KHSC and Inaugural holder of the Jay and Kendal Patry Chair in Clinical Genomics.
He is an Associate Professor at Queen's University, runs clinical and basic research labs, and is an active entrepreneur who recently co founded Monarch Informatics to bring lab data-driven insights to healthcare professionals.
Winner of Kinnear New Venture Competition, turning research into startups
Inaugural holder of the Jay and Kendal Patry Clinical Chair in Genomics at KHSC ($1M investment to advance genomics in medicine)
Director of microbiome research at Queen's University, advancing drug discovery
Recipient of 2021 Innovation Fund for C. difficile therapeutics
