Description: Curious about transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry, gaining international experience, and making a difference in patients’ lives? During this interactive Zoom event, we’ll explore the Novo Nordisk Graduate Programme and how it can help accelerate a career within the pharmaceutical industry. You will hear insights from two Novo Nordisk graduates on their journey from master’s degree to global headquarters. Following the presentation, you will also have the opportunity to network with Novo Nordisk employees from global headquarters and Canada.
Objectives:

Biographies:
Iida Tynkkynen, MSc
Iida has recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Medical Management from Karolinska Institutet, where she conducted a research project in psychiatry as part of her studies. She is now on her first rotation in Medical Writing as part of the Novo Nordisk Graduate Programme in Regulatory, Medical & Safety. Iida has a strong interest in patient-centricity, non-communicable diseases and health care systems.
Amanda Fantin, MSc
Amanda is recent a graduate from the University of Toronto with a MSc in Physiology. Her research focused on stem cells and diabetes, in particular the role of the extracellular matrix in influencing cell fate towards pancreatic cell types. She is currently in her first rotation of the Novo Nordisk Graduate Program working in the Global Chief Medical Office within Strategic Operations. Amanda is passionate about bridging the gap between the scientific and medical communities.
