During the pandemic, disinformation has become ubiquitous - how do you sooth the public's fears about COVID-19, and vaccines, while simultaneously disseminating accurate scientific information with ease? Join the S2BN Winnipeg Chapter for an evening where we will be discussing the field of scientific communication has changed during the pandemic, how the Public Health Agency has been combating disinformation, and the future of the field going forward. The evening will conclude with a Q&A portion where students can dissect Joy’s career history and learn about the skill set required to succeed in this field.
